ENA is a computational method that uses singular value decomposition to visualise connections between codes that represent the attributes of the analysis units. When used to analyse qualitative data such as online chats and interviews, ENA helps identify patterns and relationships that provide useful directions for further investigation of the primary data. I facilitated a workshop with some colleagues–Wannisa Matcha, Nora’Ayu Ahmad Uzir, and Oliver Fincham on 28 February, 2019. This workshop was offered as part of the training series for Scottish Graduate School of Social Science.
